This course offers an introduction to the practice of Mindfulness.
Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. Mindfulness is a very popular meditation technique, calming the mind and improving concentration. After attending this course, start your own meditation practice or attend the course as a refresher for your current practice.
