Lama Zopa Rinpoche

Lama Zopa Rinpoche, together with Lama Thubten Yeshe, is the founder of Kopan Monastery. They established the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition(FPMT) in 1984 as a framework for their future activitiwes. After the passing of laMA YESHE IN 1984,  Lama Zopa Rinpoche took over as the Spiritual Director of the FPMT. There are over 160 centers, projects, and services in 39 countries worldwide which follow Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s spiritual direction: www.fpmt.org
